Will a shampoo with salicylic acid mess up my dyed hair?

I've been looking at dandruff shampoos with 3% salicylic acid, and I was wondering if that might do crazy things to my colored hair (I just dyed it brown). I could care less if it strips the color faster, but I just wanted to make sure it's not going to slowly turn my hair green or something...
