Get my mom to let me pierce my nose?

im 16 & she was going to let me get a small nose stud but then she watched a documentary about tattoos and piercings and the gross people on there with mutilated bodies said their parents let them get tattoos at a young age and she doesnt want me to end up like that. all other tatttoos and piercings gross me out though. how can i convince her i wont do what they did?
