Need another old Windows game, Some kind of Virtual Monster game?

I used to play a very old game, it required subscription, but I just did the trial, it's not the old Captain Crunch game, I checked XD. But all I can remember is raising a little purple monster, feeding it and what-not, until it got old and died. You could get other monsters if you payed, but I was OK with what I had, anyone know the name of this game..? Please and thanks!
