How do you get rid of SEVERE dandruff?Does anybody know any good products or tricks?

Ok guys i'm pretty embarrassed about this as is. I'm not in the mood for smart answers but if there is any nice people out there who also suffer from this complaint what works for you?I was in the barbers today and for the first time was actually mortified because there was dandruff everywhere, I mean I destroyed her clippers and I could tell she was getting pissed off. Its really really bad. Ive tried different shampoos but if you guys know of any particular one or any other products or remedies please let me know. Thanks
