Thinking about dying my hair/cutting it. Just want to do something different nothing ultra crazy.?

Have been thinking about light on top and dark on bottom. I just haven't been able to find any pics of what I want but I've seen it on people before. Also considering keeping my hair the same and putting unnatural color strips in. Maybe pink or purple or blue?
