Bedroom color scheme/ furniture help?

I'm remodeling my room... I painted it like a gray color, has a slight blue tint, but barely. Now the color scheme is small amounts of gray, black, dark purple, and zebra patterns. I was thinking a mix in the window treatments and bed spread. as I add small furnitures just have those colors throughout... Well the question would be when I choose a bed frame, dresser, ect should it be white or dark brown?? My shelves I'm custom making are going to be white so that's why I'm stuck on it... too much white if I use white as the bed frame and dressers you think?
